AstroCal Quick Start

AstroCal is a live subscription calendar.
You add it once.
It updates itself.
You don’t download it. You don’t manage it.

Ā

šŸ’„ Before You Start (Important, Please Read)

If you simply click the AstroCal link and add it like a regular calendar file, you will not receive automatic updates.

That method creates a one time static copy.
No live updates. No future changes. No magic.

AstroCal is designed to be subscribed to, not downloaded.

Take the extra minute to follow the steps below.
You will be very happy you did. 😊

Ā

šŸŽ Step 1: Choose Your Calendar. Decide where you want AstroCal to live.

  • Ā Apple Calendar (Mac, iPhone, or iPad) or Google Calendar.
  • Ā If you choose Google Calendar, you’ll need to do the setup on a desktop computer.
Once it’s added, it syncs everywhere you use Google Calendar.

Real talk: Google Calendar is a little annoying, not gonna lie.
It does not give instant gratification.

It can in some cases take up to 24 hours.
This is normal. This is Google. Sorry.

Do not re-add the calendar. That just makes it worse.

Ā

Step 3: Let It Sync

  1. If you don’t see events right away, pause.
  2. Don’t import the file.
  3. Don’t assume something broke.

If AstroCal appears in your calendar list, it’s working.
The timeline just isn’t dramatic.

Ā
